C Alpina Clay, II

C. Alpina Clay, II, is an accomplished trainer, facilitator, and project manager with over a decade of experience leading impactful initiatives for the Development Education Network-Liberia (DEN-L) in partnership with organizations like IRC, PLAN, USAID, Trocaire, and UNDP.


A passionate advocate for sports, Alpina serves on the technical Steering Committee of the Bong County Sports Association and manages the David Kuyon Sports Stadium, fostering community engagement and athletic development. He has enriched his expertise through global training programs, including PEERS in the Netherlands, the World Community Development Conference in Ireland, and the 2023 USAID Global Health Localization Meeting in Ghana.

Alpina holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Rural Development and a Certificate in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies from Cuttington University. His leadership and dedication continue to drive sustainable development and community growth.

Vision: The overarching goal or vision of DEN-L is to see a Liberia at peace with itself and its neighbors. The MTOB-DSC envisages an environment with useful and excellent training opportunities that are responsive to the needs of our participants and prepare them to overcome personal, institutional, and societal challenges to foster growth at all levels.

 

Mission: MTOB-DSC is committed to providing its participants with quality and useful skills and educational experiences that support the successful completion of degrees, diplomas, and certificates in relevant programs based on participants' needs. The Center fosters academic and career success through a real-life development learning approach and critical thinking and analysis. The Center promotes equity (regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, political, or religious affiliation), meritocracy, honesty, and accountability through measurable learning outcomes.
